I am a talented and creative artist with enthusiasm for developing and playing games, looking to apply my skills to entertain the masses. I bring a technical thought process to the team and would like to eventually move into a technical artist position.

I was responsible for creating high quality destructible and non-destructible art assets for next gen platforms. I used custom tools to author in-game collapse of buildings and other structures. I worked to develop the art pipeline for creating destructible environments for the game "Six Days in Fallujah". I worked directly with the core tech engineers and the art director. I was responsible for training other artist to efficiently use the tools. I created several instructional videos for the team, and for other developers who were using our engine.

--Vicious Cycle Sept. 09 - Feb. 10 Environment Artist
I was responsible for creating buildings and props (model low/high, texture, LOD, collision volumes) All building needed custom canned collapse animations. Which consisted of slicing the builds into sections and chunks, creating a reactor rig, and using blocking volumes to push/hold the chunks to look like the building was collapsing from an explosion. I created a few Max Scripts to help speed up this process, later on they were given to engineering and they created a tool for artist to streamline everything into a series of buttons.

--Virtual 3D Inc. Jan. 07 - July 08
I used AutoCAD drawings to construct buildings and rooms for fly-through product marketing. I would use images from clients to make the necessary furniture and accessories to populate the rooms and buildings. I was also responsible for lighting the scene, animating cameras and rendering the project.
